When a student is referred through Skyfarer, the connection was made through the platform’s discovery tools, outreach, and support. Completing the booking on Skyfarer allows us to:

When contact details are exchanged privately in messages before a booking is made, it bypasses the platform’s workflow entirely. This makes it difficult for Skyfarer to:
Track and manage student inquiries
Ensure fair use of the platform
Maintain an organized referral and booking process
A Premium listing works differently. It allows instructors to intentionally publish their contact information directly on their listing page. This makes the process transparent from the beginning, giving students the choice to either:
Book directly through Skyfarer, or
Reach out to the instructor directly by phone or email.
